Are you KIDding me??

This is amazing. I LOVE love L . O . V . E giraffes, and this couple decorates their baby's nursery with one! I would have NEVER thought of this, but now that I have.. haha.. I wonder how much he costs... I will have to find out!

PS: I am NOT having a baby, I just like giraffes :)

Doiley Explosion

Yup. That says Doiley Explosion.

Today (after sleeping in for the first time in, I dunno... MONTHS!) my best friend Megan and I went on an adventure in downtown Bellingham. We started off getting hot chocolate at Woods (yum yum yum) then headed for the farmers market, which took approximately 2.5 mintues to walk through entirely... so then we made our way down Holly towards the home and antique shops... And that is where we found the Doiley Explosion :)
I am planning on decorating the centerpieces of the tables at the wedding with a few doileys, and I checked Value Village and Goodwill last week and got a few... but Austin and Toby ate them, so starting over!! We got around 30 today from the doiley explosion haha.

This is one of the piles we had going while we were sorting.

Here's Meg overwhelmed by doileys Haha :)

And here is the final pile we decided to buy:

Also, yeserday I was shopping for a very important friend's birthday (I will post about what I am doing for that after her birthday!) and learned something very exciting: Joanne's has new fabrics!! And even better... Joanne's has new GREY AND YELLOW fabrics!! :) For those of you who don't know, I am (just a little) obsessed with grey and yellow and we are decorating our home and the wedding with grey and yellow accents! So, I got 2 yards of each of these fabulous fabrics:

Also, I got these three felt fabrics:
for Meg and I to make fun hair things... and I might make a few other fun felt things... I will start brainstorming for this tonight!!
Next, I had a little extra time so I headed over to Goodwill to see if I could find some more doilies and stumbled across these adorable glass pieces (they are in a basket I got for half off at Joannes with all the fabrics):

Oh, and I got a few other items (like a bowl that matches a few things from our registry and two trays that stack together that I am going to post and point later... I am thinking hodgepodge? :) )

Tonight Isaac and I are going to TRY to get all of our invitations ready to be sent out Monday morning!! I will post about those once we send them because I am in L.O.V.E. with our invites :) We bought stamps yesterday (which was intersting... haha) but I will post all about invites soon!!

Love, BonnieJean

100 days!!! :D

Yup. That's a cake. Isaac is so great and even faked me out today when I called to tell him that I just realized it was the 100 day count down.... "I didn't even realize!" and then he brings this over that he made a few days ago... :) I am a very happy lady!!!

But I am freaking out.... only 100 days left!!! I have so many emotions/thoughts and I don't even know where to begin. Tomorrow is double digits! This is insane.

On another note, my Mom's best friend is getting married this Saturday (which just happens to be my mom's birthday) and so my mom and dad are flying down to California to go to the wedding. Therefore, Toby, my parent's Golden (and Austin's best friend) is visiting!! Austin is SO excited!!

I think I just realized that we haven't mentioned Austin yet. Austin is my golden retriever that I got my sophomore year of college. He is now 2 and 1/2 years old, 90 lbs, will eat anything, hates riding in the back seat (he prefers to ride in the front passenger side with his head out the window to distract other drivers and cause accidents), and probably has the worst gas out of any dog on the planet (he has cleared many a room), and he is so amazing. He is so excited to officially have a father in 100 days!! Haha

This is my first picture of Austin :) What a cute little baby boy!!

Beginning his chewing everything phase!

How could you not love that smile??

Austin with us on the day we got engaged :)

Look at that beautiful boy :)

My pillow case from Isaac that I sleep with every night!!

Well there is a SLIGHT insight into my obsession with my dog. Obviously you can tell that I just love him so much!! :) He and Toby are having so much fun already!! I'll post pictures of their adventures after the weekend!

A litte peak into my obsessions....

So... I have a few addictions. One of those addictions is currently diy things and decorating. It all stemmed from browsing wedding blogs and websites for wedding ideas, and since that gets overwhelming very quickly, it is easily more fun (at times) to just focus on post wedding life :) Here are some things that I love and have saved on my computer to hopefully go back on in the near future!
So I want to make one of these. It is a calendar painted on a wall using chalkboard paint so you can reuse it each month. So fun and funky and I just really like it!!

Also, isn't this bedroom/bed so just amazing?? I think I could stay in this bed for a week straight!

This next bedroom also isn't half bad. It is so simple but looks so relaxing and just great.

Yes, that is a screed door holding up the pots and pans. I think it is so cool what people find and use to decorate their houses! Who woulda thought?!

OK, so this might be one of my favorite things EVER. It's an old chalk board, mounted on a wall, filled with pictures of this great mother's children. AshleyAnn is a photographer turned mother who does the coolest things for her four children. I just love this creative board of family photos and random shots of the children! If you search her page you can find tons of tricks and ideas! I would love a huge board like this some day in my living room filled with memories of my family :)

I am on the crazed lookout for one of these: a free standing fireplace mantle. In the apt. Isaac and I are moving into after we get married there is (unfortunately) no fire place, but I would like to create the look of one by having one of these on one of our free walls in the living room (not behind a bed). I want to be able to decorate a mantle, even though we will have no fire. Maybe I will stick our space heater (which I basically use year round in the apt.) in the nook to get a little more of the fake fire effects? No? Haha, but I am looking constantly for a cheap one and will be visiting the ReStore constantly this quarter in hopes of stumbling across one!!

I also love the look of the "randomly" placed empty frames on a wall... I think I will do this in a mixed and match sense (some with pictures, some blank) on the yellow wall in our future bedroom.... we will see!!

After I saw this I went straight to the ReStore and bought two old shutters to paint to sort mail, etc. next year.. my only delema now is what color to paint them... decisions decisions :)

I am jealous of all this creativity, but thankful that I can steal some great ideas!! I will post some pictures of our "during" stages of setting up our temporary home in Tacoma once I get the pictures off Isaac's camera :)
